Dante Spinette opens a new chapter in his career with “Pensando en ella”, the latest preview of his next album.
The song offers a meeting between the pulsation of funk, the sensuality of R&B and the melancholy of tango, giving shape to a sound that is deeply Buenos Aires and modern at the same time.
“Thinking about her is my tango,” Dante said. “I managed to synthesize the melancholy of Buenos Aires with an urban sound, mixing hip hop, R&B and classical orchestration. It’s a song about getting lost in a broken heart.”
The song’s strings were recorded in the legendary ION studio, where legends such as Astor Piazzolla, Aníbal Troilo and Roberto Goyeneche also worked. A detail that strengthens the bridge between tradition and avant-garde that Dante builds once again in “Pensando en ella”.
The theme is accompanied by a video that captures the essence of grief with a cinematic aesthetic and choreography that mixes rawness, passion and vulnerability.
