Three distinct elements characterize the contribution made by each recipient: the spiral represents imagination and the power of ideas, the Mickey hand represents the gifts of skill, discipline and know-how, and the star wand represents magic. And the spark that comes from imagination. And the ability to combine to create a new dream – as Disney describes it.

In addition to the statue, honorees are also represented on a bronze commemorative plaque bearing their handprints and signature or simply an image of the statue’s emblem if the enthronement is posthumous.

The plaques are then displayed in Legends Plaza at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, Michael D. Across from the Eisner Building.
