All I planned was to say hello.
Almost exactly eight years ago, as I was walking down the hall outside 30 Rock’s guest office, I noticed Chuck Todd here. Come in and say hello. When I left, Chuck asked me if I would consider becoming his executive producer. Meet the press. Hmm, yes, I would consider that.
And so began eight of the most productive, enjoyable, and rewarding years of my 28 years at NBC News.
Now is the time to move on. Over the past few months, I’ve talked to Noah, Carrie, and Chuck about what my next role should be here, and I’m so grateful to continue on the Meet the Press team, a place I’ve come to call home.
