Don’t get crushed by She-Hulk spoilers!
We have lived in a world where there are many, I would say too many actors playing the same iconic superheroes. There are three different guys playing Spider-Man (not counting the animated films) and what seems like an infinite number of actors who have clashed with Batman. So meeting Mark Ruffalo and Edward Norton as the Hulk isn’t all that strange.
It is questionable whether these actors communicate that they play the same roles in these films. It turns out that Ruffalo and Norton had a lot of fun talking about their shared history as the big green monster long before the cheeky reference in the latest episode of She-Hulk: lawyerand Mark Ruffalo said recently weekly entertainment about their conversations. the actor said
I actually joked with Ed about this. I was like, ‘He’s like the Hamlet of our generation. Everyone will have a chance of him. And there will probably be another couple before it’s all over. People will say, ‘Remember when the Hulk looked like Mark Ruffalo? He now he looks like Timothée Chalamet.
All this came to light after the second episode of she-hulk was released. On the show, Norton’s delivery to Ruffalo Hulk was nicely mentioned. Jen Walters, aka She-Hulk, calls her cousin to tell her that she is handling a case involving Abomination, the villain from Edward Norton’s Hulk movie. On the phone with her, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk approves of her taking the case, saying:
That fight happened many years ago, now I’m a completely different person, literally.
Jen then looks directly at the camera and laughs, giving the audience a little confirmation that the show was only referring to the cast swap. So unlike Spider-verse or the MCU multiverse, Edward Norton’s Hulk doesn’t exist in a parallel universe. Bruce Banner simply changed Norton’s appearance to Mark Ruffalo.
Both actors had a good sense of humor regarding the funky casting situation. While Mark Ruffalo put the name of Timothée Chalamet in the role of the future Hulk, Edward Norton revealed that he thinks he’s the best Banner will always be Bill Bixby, who played the big green man in the 1978 television series. The stars have called the Hulk a version of Small townwhere many actors can enter the role and give their own interpretation.
Over the past year, Marvel has brought characters from multiple studios and franchises to the MCU. The Spider-Men (Mans?) Team Up Spider-Man: No homecoming it was a watershed moment that blew up the internet. Andrew Garfield, the Amazing Spider-Man, revealed that he had a great time trying to keep the surprise secret and lying about returning to Marvel .
In Spider-Man: No homecoming We also saw the return of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, who had played the role on the Netflix show of the same name. Charlie Cox will be heavily involved in the MCU in the future and has confirmed that he will return as Matt Murdock inside she Hulk, but with a lighter tone we are used to. Perhaps Ben Affleck could someday reprise his portrayal of the devil from Hell’s Kitchen in 2003, continuing the multi-actor fun of the comic book franchise.
of wonder she-hulk will continue to air episodes in the coming weeks Disney + . I’m sure more surprises are expected and more theories are invented. Speculation is already rife on the Internet about the The Hulk’s Last Moment she-hulk and your future involvement in upcoming MCU projects .
If we’ve learned anything from this, it’s that Marvel’s casting choices will apparently always find a way to make sense of the story, or at least to make a hilarious joke.
