The MTV Video Music Awards will take place this Sunday. Hosted by LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow, this year’s celebration will be broadcast live from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ at 5pm PT/8pm ET.

MTV VMAs 2022: Nominees and Honorable Mentions

Nicki Minaj will receive the Video Vanguard Award, while the Red Hot Chili Peppers will receive the Global Icon Award; Both will also perform at the event.

Doja Kat, Harry Styles and Jack Harlow lead with eight nominations, followed by Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X with seven.

Nominees for Video of the Year are Doja Cat (“Woman”), Drake ft. Future y Young Thug (“Way 2 Sexy”), Ed Sheeran (“Shivers”), Styles (“As It Was”), Lil Nax X y Harlow (“Industry Baby”), Olivia Rodrigo (“Severe”) Taylor Swift (“All very well”). The nominees for Album of the Year are Adele (30), a bad rabbit (a summer without you), Billie Eilish (happier than ever), Drake (a certified boyfriend) and styles (harry’s house).

Artist of the Year nominees include Bad Bunny, Drake, Sheeran, Styles, Harlow, Lil Nas X and Lizzo. Nominees for Song of the Year are Adele (“Easy on Me”), Billie Eilish (“Happier Than Ever”), Elton John and Dua Lipa (“Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)”), Lizzo (“About Damn Time”) and The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber (“Stay”).

The votes for Best New Artist go to Baby Keem, Dove Cameron, Gayle, Latto, Måneskin and Seventeen. Other awards include Actuación Push del Año, Mejor Collaboration, Mejor Canción Pop, Mejor Canción Hip-Hop, Mejor Canción Rock, Mejor Canción Alternativa, Mejor Canción Latina, Mejor Canción R&B, Mejor Canción K-pop, Video for Good, Mejor Metaverso Rendimiento and more. MTV VMAs 2022: Artists

The 2022 MTV VMAs will feature live performances outside of the main show. Dove Cameron, Saucy Santana and Yung Gravy will perform on the pre-show, while the Extended Play Stage will feature Conan Grey, Flo Millie, Gidey and Lauren Spencer-Smith.

The main broadcast will include Snoop Dogg and Eminem’s “first” performance of “From the D 2 The LBC”, and Bad Bunny will perform live on their Yankee Stadium tour. Honorees Minaj and Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform a medley of their greatest hits, while other artists (including nominees) will take the main stage, including Lizzo, BLACKPINK, Måneskin, Anitta, J Balvin, Marshmello x Khalid, Panic! At the disco and Kane Brown.
