Following major changes to Warner Bros. Discovery that led to the cancellation of the highly anticipated bad girlHis fans show up to cry and mourn what could have been. One thing in particular that people were hoping to see was Brendan Fraser, who was supposed to be the main villain in the DC movie. As the actor’s great resurgence continues, Fraser fans are rallying for the movie’s release so they can see him in it.
Brendan Fraser has been much loved lately as the actor made a big comeback in Hollywood. He was to play the arsonist Firefly bad girl, and the fans were more than ready to see him in the film. After the Warner Bros. canceled, many have opted for Twitter to express your thoughts. One person raised how Fraser is adored by people all over the world, and that the studio simply decides not to release a movie with him is totally unfair:
One of the biggest things that strikes me about the seemingly complete cancellation and demolition of the Batgirl movie is that you had a movie with Brendan Fraser, who many people rightfully love, as the villain and you decided at least NOT to. . pass it on.August 24, 2022
Brendan Fraser recently received the TIFF Tribute Award for Performance at the Toronto International Film Festival. After one user pointed out that previous winners took to the Oscars stage the following year, another user expressed how ironic it would have been if Fraser won for his role in the upcoming A24 movie. The whale:
WB / DC canceling a Batgirl movie starring Brendan Fraser, then winning the Best Actor Oscar months later, would just be a WB / DC spike. https://t.co/mtTv9zsFkMAugust 22, 2022
After learning how “thrilled” Brendan Fraser was on the set of bad girl, made fans want to see the film even more, as he plays a villain. A Twitter user expresses his anger that Warner Bros. canceled the film, knowing what a Fraser teddy bear was:
I was thinking about how Leslie Grace called Brendan Fraser a “huge teddy bear” and “one of the nicest people I’ve ever met” and now I’m even madder at WB for canceling Batgirl #ReleaseBatgirl19 August 2022
Something else fans have been waiting for bad girl was the return of Michael Keaton as Batman. The fact that we no longer have Brendan Fraser as the villain and Keaton as the hooded crusader (at least until he makes a comeback in the flash) makes it much more boring. And people are demanding that it be released, even as a standalone movie:
WB, please also release Batgirl as a standalone, standalone sequel to the Burton movies. There are so many people who want to see it and want to see Michael Keaton and Brendan Fraser in action. It would be a waste not to release it #Batgirl #ReleaseBatgirl š¦š¦š¦August 27, 2022
With bad girl Apparently receiving secret screenings before being placed in the Warner Bros. vault, a user on Twitter suggests a mission that sounds a lot like a fan favorite movie to retrieve footage, and Brendan Fraser leads the team:
We need an Ocean’s 11 style movie where they have to retrieve Batgirl files from the WB vault. Ideally with Brendan Fraser as himself joining the gang.23 August 2022
It is certainly a shame that we will not get the bad girl nor Brendan Fraser as Firefly after seeing some cute photos of him as the villain. And fans aren’t the only ones clamoring for a release. bad girl Star Ivory Aquino begged the studio not to destroy the footage as she, the cast, and crew jumped into the film.
For the moment it is not known what the plans of the study are bad girl they are, whether they destroy the footage or store it in the vault forever, but either way, it’s a sad time for fans of the DC character and Brendan Fraser.
Fortunately, the next Fraser movie The whale It will premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival this weekend and, along with two other films due out in 2023, the Brenaissance will live on. Check out Gossipify’s 2022 movie schedule to see which movies are coming soon.
