Justin Bieber postpones tour dates again: “I have to prioritize my health”

Justin Bieber has announced that he will postpone his Justice World Tour. In an Instagram story shared on Tuesday, the pop star revealed that he is putting his health first and postponing his tour once again.

“Earlier this year, I publicly struggled with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, in which my face was partially paralyzed. As a result of this illness, I was unable to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.” The star went on to explain that after taking time off and consulting with family and doctors, she continued with the European leg of her tour.

“After I left the stage, I got tired and realized that now I have to prioritize my health”, he explained how he felt after finishing his performance at Rock in Rio over the weekend. So I’m going to take a break from touring for now. I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and recover.”

“I am proud to present this show and our message of justice to the world,” he concluded. “Thank you for your prayers and support in everything! I love you all passionately!”

Bieber initially postponed the tour in early June, telling fans at the time that his “illness is getting worse”. A few days later, on June 10, he shared in a video post that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome and that part of his face was experiencing “complete paralysis”. According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox and can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss.

“So for those of you who are disappointed about my upcoming show being canceled, I obviously can’t physically do it,” he said in a video at the time. “It’s pretty serious, as you can see. I wish it weren’t, but obviously my body is telling me to slow down.”

The Justice World Tour was scheduled to start in early December 2022 and repeat in January, ending in late March 2023 in Poland.
