Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown spoke about the sexualization she suffered in Hollywood
Millie Bobby Brown talked about the sexualization he suffered throughout his career. The 18-year-old actress is mostly known for her role as Eleven in Stranger Things(2016) and, in an interview with the podcast The Guilty Feminist (via NME), talked about the “difference between the way people act and the way the press and social media react to her maturation”.
“I deal with the same things any 18-year-old is dealing with, getting to know adulthood and having relationships and friendships and all that stuff,” he said. “Being appreciated and trying to fit in, that’s all too much, and you’re trying to fit in. [conhecer] while doing this. The only difference, obviously, is that I’m doing it in the public eye.”

The actress explained how the way the public sexualized her was “overwhelming” and that she believes this experience is “a good example of what is happening in the world and how girls are sexualized. I’ve been dealing with it now – but I’ve also been dealing with it for an eternity.”
