Rita Lee found out she had a primary tumor in her left lung in May 2021 – but is now completely cured
Great news for Queen of Rock fans! Rita Lee is completely cured of lung cancer, according to information in the newspaper metropolises released this Monday, April 11.
Lee discovered that he had a primary tumor in his left lung in May 2021 after undergoing a check-up at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, in the city of São Paulo. The diagnosis was made public on the artist’s official Instagram.

During this period, the singer was more reclusive of social networks. But this Monday, April 11, Lee also made a rare appearance on Instagram when sharing a photo sitting in a garden.
The photograph was taken by the husband of Lee,Roberto de Carvalho and it is not the first shared since the beginning of the treatment. In another publication, the singer appeared with a wig and the caption “strength in the wig.” Check out:
