Bad news for fans of Bladei Amazing Studios production of the starring film was suspended Mahershala Ali.
The film is in pre-production and the shooting was supposed to start in November but with the departure of the director, Bassim TariqMarvel Studios decided to put the project on standby.
Blade it has been in production for several years now, with many revisions and rewrites of the script the most recent of which was by Beau DeMayo, known for working on TV series such as Star Trek: Strange New World, The Witcher and its animated spin off, as well as Moon Knight.
When Tariq left the project, many thought that Marvel would quickly find a replacement, especially after Werewolf by Night, the first Marvel Special presentation introduced us to the supernatural side of the MCU.
“They really want to bring him justice,” a source said.
Blade is one of Marvel’s most anticipated projects, announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 where fans are buzzing about not only entering the sun but also its new interpreter, Oscar winner Mahershala Ali . Now all that remains is to wait for new news on the matter.
