Angela Lansbury’s final appearance will be in Glass Onion, the sequel to Knives Out, on Netflix. Former James Bond Daniel Craig and director Rian Johnson paid tribute to the late actor, best known for his role in Arabesque.
Before leaving us, he will be suited to the world of detectives one last time. Actress Angela Lansbury, who died on October 11 at the age of 97 in five days, appeared in the second part of the film “Knives Out”.
Famous translator of the novelist and detective Jessica Fletcher in the detective TV series Arabesque – a role that brought him 4 Golden Globes – fell into the new adventure of detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, The Glass Onion: A Story in Discord.

The former James Bond has paid tribute to the actor who was “in life, all life”, At the European press conference of the film presented at the end of the London Film Festival:
“My favorite movie was Teenage Witch. It’s such a blessing to have her in our movie. What an amazing life she’s had!”
Director Rian Johnson also paid tribute to Angela Lansbury, but also to Stephen Sondheim, the former Broadway star, also deceased, who is also on the Glass Onion poster. The filmmaker shared precious moments with the two deceased actors during a visit to their homes:
Besides the honor of being in their film, just being able to spend ten minutes with each of them and tell them what their work meant to me was really special.
In the sequel to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, detective Benoit Blanc travels to Greece to solve a mystery involving a gallery of colorful suspects played by Edward Norton.
