Rapper A$AP Rocky was arrested Wednesday morning at Los Angeles International Airport in connection with a Hollywood shooting last year, officials said.
The executioner, whose real name is Rakim Myers, was arrested in a deadly attack, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement Wednesday.
Myers, 33, was wanted for a November 6, 2021, shooting, after which the dispute escalated, officials said. The incident took place around 10:15 pm on Selma Avenue and Argill Avenue in the Hollywood district.
Meyer is accused of shooting with a firearm from the family who suffered minor injuries and later received medical attention, according to police. Los Angeles Police said Mayers and two other men fled after the shooting.
A publicist and attorney for Mayers’ RCA Records did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Mayers were filmed a few days ago in Barbados with Rihanna. The high-profile celebrity couple announced in January that they were expecting their first child together. They didn’t give a deadline.
Myers released her last studio album four years ago and, like Rihanna, has become as famous for fashion trends as she is for music. He was in the international spotlight in 2019 after being jailed for nearly a month following a street fight in Sweden. He was convicted of assault and sentenced to “parole”, which did not mean more prison time.
