Madonna sells Hidden Hills mansion for $26 million a year after buying it from The Weeknd

It didn’t last long. Just over a year after buying a nine-bedroom home from The Weeknd in The Hidden Hills, California, for $19.3 million, Madonna decided to put the house back on the market.

The musician listed the property valued at $25.995 million, a bigger jump than he paid last April, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Spanning nearly 7 acres, the property includes a barn with a newly built gym and dance/pilates studio, a natural fit for a perennial singer.

The red-stained property includes a main house and a two-bedroom guest house. It includes 12,500 square feet of living area with 11 bathrooms, a two-story wall of windows leading to the foyer, a home theater, a music room, a great room with an indoor/outdoor bar, and an adjoining outdoor living room. All seven bedrooms are en-suite, while the master bedroom offers two closets, a steam shower and a stone bath.

Other features include an olive grove, a full-size basketball court, an outdoor kitchen, and a zero-water pool with a hot tub for up to 10 people.

Prior to Madonna’s sale, The Weeknd owned the property for nearly four years, buying the property in 2017 for $18.2 million. He first listed it at $25 million in 2020 before dropping the price to $22 million, according to Dirt.com.

Madonna has put the property up for sale with Trevor Wright of The Beverly Hills Estates, who also represented the singer in the acquisition of the property last April. He could not be found for comment.
