Lisa Brenner Joins Syfy’s Ark (Exclusive)

Lisa Brenner (Patriot, César Chavez) has joined the cast of the upcoming Syfy television series. ArkWho takes on the role of Commander Susan Ingram in a renewed role.

Created by Dean Devlin (stargate), Ark Coming 100 years after the catastrophic ecological catastrophes on Earth, planetary colonization missions are seen as the only hope for humanity’s salvation. The first of these missions is on a spaceship called Ark One. But with more than a year to go before reaching the target planet, the crew of Ark One finds itself in a state of disaster, losing most of its supplies and leadership. The rest of the crew must rise to the challenge if they are to stay on track and survive.

Devlin and Jonathan Glasner co-host and executive produce the show along with Mark Roskin and Rachel Olshan-Wilson at Electric Entertainment. Jonathan Englishman and Steve Lee of Balkanic Media are producing. The first 12 episodes Ark Now in production at PFI Studios in Belgrade, Serbia.

Brenner, who has been married to Devlin since 2003, is joined by TV series host Christy Burke (Housekeeper), Richard Flizmann (High temperature), that Richie (favorite bones), Stacey Read (ane) and newcomer Ryan Adams. She will play Commander Susan Ingram, a career military officer who finds herself on the horrific mission of Ark One. Other recurring guest stars are included.
