The Batman 2 – The sequel of the movie with Robert Pattinson has been officially announced

The news has been constantly coming in ever since CinemaCon and, most likely, arriving at the last hour will be the most important event. Warner Bros. in fact officially announced The Batman 2sequel of the film directed by Matt Reeves and performed by Robert Pattinson.

Although surprising, the news itself is not surprising: The Batman (here’s the review) was a critical and public success: a large portion of the audience liked this new version of Hooded Crusaderthat the film already provides some ideas for the future.

The announcement was made by Toby Emmerichwho also confirmed Matt Reeves as director: “Batman was one of last year’s hits in theaters. Matt took one of our most iconic and beloved superheroes and gave a new cut, a fresh perspective that clearly made a good impact on the audience, given of incredible support, which is breaking the record in a row at the box office around the world. For this reason I am pleased to announce that Matt, Robert Pattinson and the entire team will bring Gotham viewers back to The Batman 2 “.

Soon came the words of Matt Reeves: “I agree with everything Toby said and thank you for the support you gave to the film. Without faith in enthusiasm and without the hard work behind it, we will not reach this point. Every part of this journey fascinates me as a director and a big fan of the character. I can’t wait to return to this world for the next chapter ”.

There is currently no official date for The Batman 2.
