Just Move: The Easiest Missionary Orgasm Technique

Studies show that only 25% of women have an orgasm in the missionary position. But it turns out that it’s easy to fix!

What’s wrong with the regular missionary position?

The missionary position is a timeless classic. Most couples love the emotional and physical intimacy it provides: you can cuddle up together, kiss, see your partner’s face. All this makes her very romantic, but bad luck – she is the least suited to orgasm.

According to research, only one in four women consistently orgasms when the partner is on top. At the same time, the length of the penis or the duration of intercourse does not matter: 13 centimeters or 23, five minutes or half an hour – all the same, only a man experiences pleasure in the final.

The reason is simple: in the missionary position, the penis does not come into contact with the clitoris. If the legs of your clitoris aren’t adhering to the wall of the vagina, creating the G-spot that everyone is looking for but can’t find, the missionary position is unlikely to give you anything other than the romance already mentioned.

Do you like the missionary position?

Yes

Nope

The obvious solution is to change positions: one for emotions, another for relaxation. For example, the “doggy style” allows a man to caress his partner’s clitoris at the same time as the penetration. In the jumper’s position, the lover will only need to clench his fist and put his hand on the lower abdomen: if the girl bends over, she can press her clitoris against her fingers. In the end, no one canceled the “manual labor” and cunnilingus.

But there are times when you want it all. Is it possible to have both a pipe and a jug: to experience an orgasm in the classic missionary position? The good news is that it’s not only possible, it’s very easy.

What is the Coital Alignment Technique?

The coital alignment technique was invented by psychotherapist and sex researcher Edward Aikle in 1988. CAT is an improved version of the missionary position which, through small changes in a man’s position, adds clitoral stimulation with friction.

All you have to do for this is nothing: the partner just needs to move a little higher – so that his chest is above your shoulders. Rhythmic penetrating movements should be replaced by sliding movements – and voila! Now your clitoris and your lover’s pubic bone are in contact, and you’re both getting the stimulation you need in the right places.

What is corn?

The cumbersome technical name of coital alignment in the United States quickly replaced the simpler expression corn grinding – “corn grinding”. On the one hand, the reason is clear: the process of rubbing is very similar to grinding grains into flour. However, why exactly the corn and if the cobs have anything to do with it remains unknown.

Coital Alignment Technique Research

Aikle’s technique caused a stir, even making headlines. She’s been featured in magazines, she’s been mentioned in sex books. However, for unknown reasons, coital alignment was forgotten in the 1990s and few sexologists offered their clients the use of CAT.

However, technological research continued. The Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy published the results of one of them, in which 36 women participated. All of them attended an eight-week seminar, where they studied sexual practices. 17 women were encouraged to masturbate regularly in addition to sex, and another 19 participants were taught the coital alignment technique.

All the girls kept a sex diary for 21 days after the seminar. Ultimately, those who masturbated reported having 27% more orgasms, while coital alignment practitioners had an impressive 56% more. The double difference speaks for itself.

However, there is no need to choose between CAT and masturbation: after all, you can use both. There is another situation in which coital alignment will be very useful: the technique helps to deal with premature ejaculation. So check it out if you prefer half an hour to five minutes.

This simple technique can diversify your intimate life, add orgasms and breathe new life into your favorite classics. And all you need is to move a little – when else was extra pleasure so little effort?
