Apple today announced a new, untitled feature film about the life of the beloved actor and activist Michael J. Fox (“Back to the Future”, “Keaton’s House”, “Victims of War”, “The President – A Love Story”), by the Academy Award® -winning director Davis Guggenheim (“An Inconvenient Truth”, “Waiting for Superman”, “Malala”). The docufilm is currently in production in New York, Los Angeles and Vancouver.

Directed by Davis Guggenheim, it alternates elements of documentary, archival, and fiction, narrating the extraordinary life of MJ Fox in his own words: the unlikely story of a small child who grew up at a Canadian army base he was able to reach the heights of stardom. in the 1980s in Hollywood. MJ Fox’s narrative about public life, full of nostalgic thrills and bright movie pages, will open with unseen anecdotes about his private life, including the years after his diagnosis, in twenty -nine, of Parkinson’s disease. Intimate and honest, full of personal contributions and the entire Fox family, the film will narrate the personal and professional successes and hardships of Michael J. Fox, who explores what happens when a helpless optimist like he was faced with an incurable disease. The film was made by Concordia Studio.
