Over the past few hours, several new commercials Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness showing us some unpublished main character scenes Charles Xavier, Captain Marvel and most of all, Captain Carter from the Disney + animated series What if…?.
But let’s go in order. The first spot, which lasts only 15 seconds, opens with Doctor Strange handcuffed and led in front of Illuminati from I’m bitten. The ad continues with a close-up of People and new scenes he sees Wanda repel the onslaught of the dark shadows we have already seen accompany him Strange zombies in the second trailer of the film. Then we see a new scene dedicated to the variant of Captain Marvel by Maria Rambeau (Tom Cruise’s often mistaken for Superior Iron Man not to be featured in the film)followed by a fight scene at the Illuminati headquarters between Wanda and Captain Carter. Then we see Doctor Strange in front of the Illuminati and a new scene to focus on Charles Xavier. Also in this case we do not see the face of the character but showed us a very interesting detail. In fact, Professor X’s chair is the yellow suspension chair common to Unparalleled X-Men, and even character costumes are already appearing from animated series in the 90s. The second spot instead shows us many scenes seen before. The only unedited scene is the one focused on Strange zombie who is probably fighting Wanda in the scene seen in the previous place. We better take a look at the character who, according to the description of the first 20 minutes shown at CinemaCon, is most likely the dead Defender Strange who arrived in the MCU universe along with America Chavez at the beginning of the film.
These new spots seem to confirm a leak from a well -known insider Daniel Richtman (same leaker who revealed a few months later the complete plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the presence of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire) who in recent weeks has revealed that the Illuminati we see in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is made up of Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), Mr. Fantastic (John Krasinski), Captain Marvel (Lashana Lynch), Black arrow (Anson Mount) e Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell).
Here are two new areas dedicated to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is headed by Sam Raimi with screenplay written by Michael Waldronfresh from the success of the series Loki. Initial plans for the film were for it to be directed by Scott Derrickson, former director of the first episode, who later declined the assignment due to creative differences but remained involved as an executive producer. The famous composer Danny ElfmanSam Raimi’s longtime collaborator was tasked with scoring.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will come in theaters across Italy on Wednesday 4 May 2022.
