Celine Dion is pushing for a European tour through 2023 amid an ongoing health issue

Celine Dion is once again postponing part of her Courage World Tour due to an ongoing health issue.

“I am very sorry that we have to change Europe’s tourism plans yet again; “First we had to change shows because of the pandemic, now I have health issues so we’re going to postpone it,” Dion said in a statement posted on her website on Friday, announcing that her European dates had been postponed.

In a message sent to fans, Dion directly provided more detailed information about his condition, which he had previously described as a strong, persistent muscle spasm, and promised he would do everything in his power to get back to performing.

“I work a little better, but I still have some spasms,” he said. “I have to be in shape on stage. Honestly, I can’t wait, but I haven’t done it yet… I do my best to get back to the level I need to be 100% at my shows because that’s what you deserve. ”

The European leg of the world tour was supposed to start on May 25th in Birmingham, England and end on September 24th of this year. It will now start on February 24, 2023 in Prague, and performances will continue until October 4, 2023.

The musician completed his first 52 North American world tour until March 2020, when a pandemic shut down the live entertainment industry. After the pandemic, Dion dropped out of her Las Vegas residency and her North American leg of the Courage World Tour.

In October 2021, the award-winning singer postponed his Las Vegas residency – originally scheduled for November 2021 and January and February 2022 – and then, in January of this year, Dion canceled his North American world tour. The start is scheduled for March 9. It has not yet been announced when the residency or North American dates will be rescheduled.
