Reik shines on “Winnie Pooh”, the song that will be part of the new Dímelo Flow album and in which Jay Wheeler and Boza also collaborated.
Presented by Rich Music, “Winnie Pooh” kicks off with a video that begins from the nostalgic perspective of Dímelo Flow reflecting on moments and photos with friends and colleagues like Anitta, J Balvin and Chimbala, accompanied by the title of his album, “Always Dream”. “in a deep red.
“Music is global, and I’m thrilled to be the bridge between artists and cultures. When I created this beat, I remember thinking it was so versatile that artists from any country could get in there and make a hit, so I brought in the powerhouses of Puerto Rico and Panama, because both of those countries are known for their urban music, but I added Mexico as a special surprise, and with Reik on board I knew we had a world anthem,” Dimelo Flow said.
And it was not accidental. After the symbolic opening, the video gives way to a dark Reik singing to the sounds of a guitar “I filled you with so many details that you don’t even see yourself anymore, huh, I watered the rose every day until I drowned it, I did everything to get you but it’s was the opposite…”.
Then the sentimental voices of Jay Wheeler and Boza join to say “This snake has already lost its skin, this Winnie Pooh has no more honey.”
“Winnie the Pooh” is a bittersweet theme who will surely tug at the heartstrings expressing that not all losses are bad when it comes to a toxic partner who underestimates you.
“Winnie Pooh” and Dímelo Flow’s previous release titled “Suelta”, featuring Rauw Alejandro, Farruko, María Becerra, Mr. Vegas and Fatman Scoop, are a taste of what’s to come on the album.
