X Factor star Holly Tandy has married her long-term boyfriend Lewis Akeister, sharing photos of their legal ceremony on Instagram ahead of a wedding abroad in Greece.
Tandy, 25, wore a long white halterneck dress for the occasion. She captioned the post: ‘The legal part all done and now time for our Greek wedding.’
Fans and friends responded in the comments with messages including ‘Congratulations. Have the best time in Greece celebrating!’ and ‘Congratulations to two special people.’
Tandy announced her engagement to Akeister in 2024 after he proposed in Santorini just after her 23rd birthday. She marked the moment on Instagram alongside a video of the proposal, writing: ‘24.07.2024 Mr and Mrs Akeister to be.’
Tandy rose to fame on the 2017 series of The X Factor, where she competed in the Girls category under mentor Sharon Osbourne. She auditioned with Alicia Keys’ If I Ain’t Got You, receiving four yeses from the judges, before being eliminated in week four. She was the youngest contestant on her series, turning 16 during the bootcamp stages.
Since the show, she has built a social media following and performed in a number of stage productions.
