Radio presenter Yasmin Evans, 35, has announced she is pregnant with her first child after sharing photoshoot pictures of her baby bump on Instagram on Friday. Posing in her garden, the star tenderly touched her stomach and held a bunch of sunflowers while wearing a white bralette, a dramatic ruffled bolero, and matching trousers.

The former BBC Radio 1 presenter captioned her main post with a message reflecting on her pregnancy journey. "The storm changed us forever, but so did the rainbow that followed," Evans wrote.

Sharing further pictures to her Instagram stories, Evans revealed her husband took the photos at their home while hinting at a difficult fertility journey. "My husband took these photos of us, in our garden at home. It's my deepest honour to have been chosen every time. A little rainbow, created from our season," she wrote.

Evans also offered support to others trying to conceive. "Sending love to those on this journey, no words are deep enough. And for all your words & love, thank you. Love MUVVA," she wrote.
Marriage and celebrity congratulations
The pregnancy announcement comes one year after Evans married her husband, whose identity she has not disclosed publicly. In August last year, she announced they had tied the knot the previous month, sharing pictures of herself in a bridal skirt suit with the caption: "We double-barrelled in July. Next stop, the destination."

Her announcement received numerous congratulations from fans and celebrity friends, including Clara Amfo, David Potts, and Married at First Sight star Ella Morgan. Morgan wrote: "Omg!!!!! Congrats beaut, yummy mummy! So happy for you both."

Broadcasting career and TV endurance show
The Stockport native is known for hosting shows on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, and Heart Radio. Her television career includes presenting CBBC's Saturday Mash-Up, The BRITs livestream, and Celebrity Karaoke Club.
In 2020, Evans competed on Channel 4's endurance series Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in the wilds of Scotland alongside Anthea Turner and Katie Price. During the show, Evans was rushed to hospital with trench foot, a condition caused by prolonged exposure to cold, damp, and unsanitary conditions.
Telling The Sun about the medical emergency, Evans said: "I ended up in hospital and couldn’t walk for four days. I looked down at my feet and I just thought, 'This is not OK.' My toenails were almost hanging off."
Speaking later on Instagram Live, Evans explained the extent of the damage. "I really suffered from having two major infections in my feet. Your socks are constantly wet. It’s a World War injury," she said. "The boots are really hard. Basically my toenail was black and one of them was split in the middle and was constantly bleeding."
Despite the ordeal, Evans stated she would take part in the show again, adding she would "rip off" her toenails first because "they’re going to fall out anyway".
