Former TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou has checked into a £4,500-a-week holistic rehabilitation centre in Spain to prioritise her mental health following a recent police raid at her home.

The 32-year-old reality television personality jetted off to the private luxury retreat to focus on her recovery just weeks after armed officers raided her flat following a knife attack at a Mayfair nightclub.

Oukhellou revealed her stay at Oasis Premium Recovery on her Instagram stories on Friday, sharing images of the complex and its mountain views. She stated that she decided to enter the facility to finally heal after experiencing a turbulent few years.

"I'm finally giving myself permission to deal with things I've pushed down for a long time," Oukhellou said. "I've always been so good at carrying on and pretending I'm fine, but now I'm learning to slow down, be honest with myself and actually heal. One day at a time."

Oasis Premium Recovery describes itself as "your home away from home with expert care and an individually tailored treatment plan for addiction and mental health recovery."

Armed police raid in Hertfordshire

The move to Spain follows an armed police raid on Oukhellou's flat in Hertford, Hertfordshire, which is situated across the road from her mother's home. Metropolitan Police officers, working alongside local Hertfordshire police, spent more than an hour at the property searching for a suspect linked to a violent incident in central London.

Oukhellou was present inside the flat during the operation. Officers arrested 28-year-old Lucci Guthrie at the address, leading him from the building in handcuffs accompanied by an armed officer. During the raid, a woman believed to be Oukhellou's mother asked officers if the former reality star was going to be arrested, and police confirmed she was not.

Metropolitan Police confirmed Oukhellou was not arrested and is not being treated as a suspect in the investigation.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "A 28-year-old man was arrested in the Hertford area on Monday, 10 August on suspicion of attempted murder. He was taken to a west London police station, where he remains."

Nightclub stabbing near Premier League party

The arrest followed a violent assault at the Mistress of Mayfair nightclub on St James' Street in Mayfair. Police and the London Ambulance Service responded to reports of an attack at 12.22am on Monday, August 10.

Inside the venue, where bottles of wine can cost upwards of five figures, Premier League footballers had gathered to celebrate the birthday of Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey. The party included around 20 guests, among them Bailey's teammate Lamare Bogarde.

It came three years after she permanently stepped away from the reality show to focus on her recovery after she was injured in the car crash that killed her boyfriend Jake McLean

Violence broke out near the dancefloor when Guthrie allegedly attacked Rhys Copas, the new partner of Guthrie's ex-girlfriend. Copas suffered an 8cm slash to his neck that exposed his voice box and damaged nerves. He was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery for what police described as a potentially life-changing stab wound.

Guests made a quick exit as police shut down the central London venue. On August 12, Guthrie was formally charged with attempted murder for trying to kill Copas.

Tragic history and career after reality television

Oukhellou first rose to prominence in 2017 when she joined the cast of ITV2 reality show The Only Way Is Essex, commonly known as TOWIE. She became a core cast member during her tumultuous relationship with co-star James Lock.

Three years ago, Oukhellou permanently stepped away from the reality show following a horrific car crash in Bodrum, Turkey. In 2022, a blue Mercedes E-class saloon in which she was a passenger plunged off a mountainous road and fell into a ravine.

Her boyfriend, Jake McLean, died in the crash, while Oukhellou suffered severe injuries. Following her departure from television, she focused on her recovery and established herself as a business owner and digital influencer, running her own beauty salon.
