Actors Zendaya, 29, and Tom Holland, 30, held a £500,000 secret wedding celebration at the Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey on Tuesday. The couple hired out the entire venue and banned guests and staff from using mobile phones to stop leaks.
The pair previously married in an understated ceremony earlier this year. Their second event took place near Holland's family home in Kingston upon Thames, surrounded by friends and family.
The sprawling 370-acre estate near Leatherhead is a five-star hotel once owned by late newspaper proprietor Lord Beaverbrook, who hosted leaders including Winston Churchill there. The property features 56 rooms and suites, along with an on-site Japanese restaurant that offers hot air balloon-styled dining tables.
The newlyweds recently finished promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where Zendaya flashed her wedding ring for the first time. The pair have been romantically linked since 2016, when they met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Marriage Confirmation and Stylist Claims
In an Esquire UK interview published last month, Holland ended months of speculation about their marriage, stating: "I found my person, I'm the happiest I've ever been." Holland confirmed in June that they had held an intimate first wedding earlier this year.
Addressing viral, highly realistic AI-generated wedding pictures on Instagram and TikTok, Holland was asked if family members thought they had missed the real ceremony. He answered: "No, because they were all there... That's all you'll get on that."
Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, first claimed the couple had married during an interview at the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles in February. Roach said, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it!" though the couple declined to clarify at the time.
Zendaya first showed her engagement ring, designed by London-based jeweller Jessica McCormack, at the 2025 Golden Globes.
Public Life and Career Collaboration
Speaking about their bond, Holland said: "Our business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time. We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."
Holland added: "So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."
Holland also shared his first impressions of Zendaya. He said: "Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her. She smashed her audition out the park and got the part before she’d even left the room. I remember when she closed the door to leave, [producer] Amy Pascal was immediately like, “Well, she’s getting the job”."
The couple kept their relationship low-key for years before making their first joint red carpet appearance in five years for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Madrid on Monday. Holland previously told Men's Health that he avoids walking red carpets with his partner at premieres "because it's not my moment, it's her moment, and if we go together, it's about us".
The pair currently star in The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's epic poem. Following the success of both The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, they are on course to become the most profitable box office actors in a single year.
