Andrew Garfield, who played Spider-Man in the reboot following Tobey Maguire's franchise, said he is ready to return to the role of the friendly neighborhood superhero.
According to Garfield, any return would require the picture to be unusual, even in terms of genre. He said he needs the project to be very strange and completely unexpected, creating a Spider-Man genre that viewers have never seen before, such as a road movie.
Garfield's version of Spider-Man received only two solo films. Fans have been waiting for a third movie for many years.
