American singer Bruno Mars has expanded his global Romantic Tour by announcing new concert dates across North America, Latin America, Asia, and Australasia through May 2027.
The announcement follows a series of sold-out stadium performances across North America and Europe in support of his solo comeback album project, The Romantic, which recently secured Mars a historic record on the music charts.
Mars has built a reputation over the past decade as one of the music industry's premier live performers, recognized for singing, dancing, and playing instruments live on stage. His concert setlist features a decade of chart-topping hits including Just the Way You Are, Locked Out of Heaven, Treasure, 24K Magic, Uptown Funk, and That's What I Like, which stadium crowds regularly sing in unison.
The tour comes during one of the most active and successful periods of his career, driven by record-breaking global collaborations, new music releases, and massive stadium shows. This year, Mars focused on his long-awaited solo comeback under the concept of The Romantic, returning to his signature sound that blends funk, traditional R&B, and retro ballads with modern production.
The current tour has already taken Mars through major cities across the United States and Canada, as well as European stops in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, and London. Attendees at these stadium shows witnessed unique local stunts integrated directly into the live performances.
Stunts across European stadiums
During his concert in Madrid, Spain, Mars brought a traditional jamonera board featuring a leg of Iberian ham onto the stage. The singer sliced a piece of the cured meat and ate it while performing, offering a direct nod to Spanish gastronomy.
At London's Wembley Stadium, Mars appeared on stage wearing a Hogwarts cloak, scarf, and iconic round glasses from the Harry Potter franchise. He used a magic wand as a conductor's baton to direct his band before launching into one of his tracks.
In Amsterdam, Mars entered the stage riding a retro Dutch tricycle equipped with a flower basket and wooden clogs. He joked with the audience that he had pedaled along the city's famous canals to reach the concert stage.
The live shows have also served as a backdrop for new visual releases. Mars recently transformed one of his live concert performances into the official music video for Still, his new collaborative single with Colombian singer Karol G.
New tour dates for 2026 and 2027
Following strong demand from fans for additional shows, Mars revealed his updated itinerary starting in September 2026. He will perform across Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Indiana, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, and California, before spending extended time in California and Canada throughout October 2026.
According to the published schedule, Mars will take a break during November 2026 before spending the entire month of December 2026 performing across Mexico.
The tour moves to Asia and Australasia in early 2027. Mars will perform in Japan in January 2027, followed by shows in Australia throughout February and early March 2027. He will conclude March 2027 in New Zealand.
In April 2027, the tour will spend the entire month in Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand. The final announced leg takes place in May 2027 across China, concluding at the end of that month with performances in the Philippines and Seoul, South Korea.
Historic chart milestone
The expanded tour coincides with significant chart success for his romantic ballad Risk It All, which reached the number one spot. The success of The Romantic project marks a historic milestone previously held only by former Beatles member Paul McCartney.
Mars established the longest gap between number one hits for any living male solo artist, spanning nearly 13 years. This breaks the previous record set when McCartney returned to the top of the charts in 2018 with his album Egypt Station.
McCartney's 2018 return came 36 years and three months after his previous top spot hit Tug of War, which topped the charts on June 12, 1982. Produced by George Martin, Tug of War was a melancholic pop ballad built around acoustic instruments that reflected on McCartney's tense and competitive relationship with his former songwriting partner John Lennon.
