Singer Anitta has announced that she will be taking a break from her music career to take “a nice time off” away from the stage and the spotlight.
In an interview with “Hora da Venenosa” on RicTV, an affiliate of Record TV in Paraná, Anitta said that after the Carnival period she has “a job to do” and, when she completes it, she intends to spend “a few months” resting.
“I have work to do when the Carnival is over, but then I’ll have a nice holiday period right after. I’ve chosen to stay a few months without doing anything and I think it will be very pleasant and important for me,” he said.
When asked if she already has a script with the places she intends to go on this gap year, Anitta made it a mystery. The singer stressed that she still hasn’t chosen exactly where she wants to go.
“I won’t tell anyone and I haven’t decided yet… I’ve decided one place or another, but not everything. I’ll be gone for a long time,” he added.
Anitta performed last Sunday (12), in Curitiba, with the Ensaios da Anitta tour, and took advantage of the Carnival period to wear a costume of Maria Quitéria, the first woman to join the Brazilian army.
It is worth mentioning that the singer has faced several health problems in the past year, with poorly explained causes, but with the recommendation of rest repeatedly ignored.
