In a rant on social media, the presenter said she wasn’t having a good day
the presenter Luciana Gimenez, 53, vented on social media about recovering from a crash he sustained in Aspen, US, in January. In a series of videos posted on social networks, he said he wasn’t having a good day, and that he struggled to see improvement.
Gimenez was skiing when he had the accident. The owner of superpop he broke his leg in four places and needed emergency surgery. On social media, she said she had had good days and bad days during treatment to regain movement.
“There are very good days, when we wake up happy, we go to physiotherapy and we believe it will get better. And there are days like today, when I look at my leg and I don’t see any improvement,” she said.
“People say ‘you look great.’ I’m not. I have a nine week fracture and I really wanted to stop talking about it. Today I woke up to a Luciana who is not very thrilled about having a broken leg. Today I just wanted to wake up , doing my thing, my routine, running with my son, going to the beach or working in high heels. And today it’s not easy,” she added, not holding back her tears.
Despite the difficulties of the new reality, Luciana Gimenez said she was grateful to be able to heal.
“Every day it’s like I woke up and I’m not where I was. At the same time, I’m grateful for all the assistance I have, the support network. It’s guilt along with gratitude and a little bit of sadness,” completed.
