Simony vents about the fight against cancer: ‘I have weakened myself several times’

Simony attended the Female Personalities & Personalities of the Year Award, in Rio de Janeiro, this Thursday 16/03, and opened her heart talking about the fight against cancer. The singer confessed that she faced very difficult situations during her bowel cancer treatment.

“I got weak several times, I cried several times, I wanted to be alone several times, there is the problem of people who care for me for my moment, but I think it’s normal. It’s difficult to deal with an illness that you don’t you know what’s going to happen, it’s close to finitude, you have children and you choose: either you go through it with optimism, believing everything will work out, or you go through it, martyring yourself and thinking you’re going to fail and die”he said.

Furthermore, according to the Observatory of the Famous, Simony he highlighted that now he just has to deal with anxiety, waiting for the results of the exams. “My exams still fail, so I haven’t said anything yet. But let’s go with faith! This anxiety continues, because I’m not sure yet, so it’s a continuous struggle, but I’m very happy” , explained.

Finally he highlighted: “I live from day to day. Today is the most important day of my life. Tomorrow, when I wake up, will be the most important day for me, and that’s how life goes on”.
