Musician and comedian, Juca Chaves died in Salvador, where he lived with his family, after spending 15 days in hospital

Juca Chaves passed away this Saturday, 03/25, in Salvador, after spending 15 days in hospital. According to the hospital statement, the musician and comedian died of respiratory problems, but the family did not disclose further details about the medical condition.




São Rafael Hospital regrets the death of patient Juca Chaves on Saturday night (25) due to complications from respiratory problems and sympathizes with his family and friends for this irreparable loss. the comedian Juca Chaves began his professional career in Tupi TV, in 1955, and ventured into other artistic fields. As a composer, he signed the hits ‘A Cúmplice’, ‘Menina’, ‘Que Saudade’ AND ‘President bossanova’.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, the artist spent the last decades of his life in Salvador with his wife Yara Chaves, to whom he had been married since 1975. Keys leaves two daughters, Maria Chiara AND Maria Morena.
