Actress Hilary Swank announced on Instagram on Sunday that she has given birth to twins, a boy and a girl, aged 48. She posted a photo of her holding her babies as she watched the ocean at sunset. “It wasn’t easy. But it was really, really good,” she wrote in the caption. “Happy Easter! Posting from Pure Heaven.”
Swank announced her pregnancy in October 2021 during an interview on ‘Good Morning America’. On the occasion, she shared that she and her husband, Philip Schneider, have twin boys in their family line.
Since then, she has been sharing her pregnancy journey on social media. In one Christmas post, she posed next to a Christmas tree holding her belly, writing, “We couldn’t wish for a more amazing miracle. So thankful for these two lifelong gifts!”
The twins are the first children of Swank and Schneider, who wed in 2018. Swank also has another set of gold cufflinks that he’s very proud of: two Oscar statuettes for Best Actress, for “Boys Don’t Cry” (2000) and “Golden Girl” (2005).
