Making money: what became famous for Russia’s richest bloggers and how they earned their millions

According to statistics, Valeria Chekalina, known as Lerchek, earned 1 billion rubles. It also had the highest revenue growth of 52.2%. She became famous through fitness marathons, then she started producing her own cosmetics. In 2023, however, she began to have serious problems with the law – the blogger and her husband were accused of not having paid taxes amounting to 300 million and banned from using social networks for two month.

Mitroshina’s revenue for 2022 amounted to 650 million rubles and increased by 30%. The blogger was also reluctant to deduct taxes from them – she owed the state about 120 million rubles, but this fact baffles her a little. Mitroshina currently lives in Dubai, where she has purchased property, and continues to sell her social media promotion courses.

Third place was taken by 23-year-old Ayaz Shabutdinov, who calls himself an information businessman. The man became famous for getting rich quick and now teaches others about the “billionaire mentality” in webinars. One of his recent courses that has caused quite a stir online is called How to Marry a Billionaire.

Oksana was promoted on the network, first thanks to the image of a happy wife and mother, then family dramas with Dzhigan provided her coverage. However, Samoilova herself does not position herself as a businesswoman. Oksana’s most famous business is a cosmetics brand, which has however been repeatedly criticized online for plagiarism and poor product quality.

Closes the top of the most successful bloggers Gohar Avetisyan, who started out as a beauty blogger but has recently been best known for her struggle for the “perfect figure”. The whole country watched Gohar’s weight loss almost live (as at one time the “divorce” of Samoilova and Dzhigan) – the blogger posted candid photos and honestly told about her difficulties, including failure breast plastic surgery.
