A new clip from ‘Fast and Furious 10’ shows Jason Momoa’s character declaring war on Dominic Toretto
Just over a month left the beginning of the end of the road of Dominic Toretto and his family. ‘Fast X’ will be just the first of the last two chapters in the ‘Fast and Furious’ saga and will bring Vin Diesel’s character face to face with an enemy we didn’t see coming, played by Jason Momoa.
Since it began in 2001, the franchise has seen a good number of villains bite the dust, and even many of them (such as Jason Statham or John Cena) have become part of “the family”. But the origin of Jason Momoa’s Dante, a ghost from the past that no one was prepared for, makes us think that this door is closed in this case. A new preview of the action movie posted on Twitter shows us that Dante is serious and that he has “declared war” on Dom and his crew.
The brief clip shows Dante taunting and challenging Dom in a every man for himself. As Han points out, “That madman has declared war on us.”. However, while Dante seems eager to blow everything up and hurt Dom in the worst way possible, the latter is seen keeping his cool in the face of the enemy. Surely, the calm before the storm.
‘Fast X’: Who is Dante (Jason Momoa)?
The first trailer for ‘Fast X’ (which you can see in the header of this article) revealed that Dante is the son of drug trafficker Hernán Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida) seeking revenge for the death of his father during the events of ‘Fast and Furious 5’. The trailer recreated some moments from the past to create context for the character, and it remains to be seen how long the trailer will be. flashback and how much of the action takes place years ago.
Dante is someone who has studied Dom for a long time and is ready for his ultimate revenge by hurting his family, just like Dom did (unknowingly) at the time.
