“Yes, it’s wooden!” : Keanu Reeves, Stallone and others who need acting lessons

Many famous actors have achieved success through certain roles. And if we give them others, the class of the game does not always correspond to their popularity and their prices!

Keanu Reeves

One of Hollywood’s most famous actors starred in The Matrix, Speed, John Wick… But, according to critics, he always plays one-dimensional and doesn’t show much emotion. For this, they both like him and make fun of him: “He talks like a robot, and his face barely moves, it’s like Keanu’s mask on him.” But in the case of Reeves, such a game can be confused with a creative method, because it is simply impossible to accuse him of mediocrity!

Sylvester Stallone

Another strange name for this list. But think about it: Stallone is great like Rocky or Rambo, but in other movies he seems to play the same roles! Forbes once wrote of him this way: “He looks like a temporary role model in modern movie franchises.”

Stallone has received awards like the Golden Raspberry more than once, but his response to such awards has always been the same: “My movies make money, leave me alone.” Of course, his words are not without irony, but the truth is also present there.

Quentin Tarantino

It’s strange to imagine that the famous director and screenwriter needed lessons! Nevertheless, it is so. At one point, Quentin dropped out of school to become an actor, but realized he “loves movies too much to even appear in them”.

His small roles in his own films show that the Tarantino actor is average: he is too worried and overplays. Thus, according to critics, his acting skills should be polished.

Ben Affleck

Ben has acted in many box office films, but he has also been repeatedly awarded the Golden Raspberry. It is believed to be particularly difficult for comedians to readapt to serious films. Affleck radically solved the problem – he became a director. As a result, he has two Oscars in his piggy bank, and both are not destined to play: in 1997, together with Matt Damon, he received a statuette for the screenplay of the film Good Will Hunting, and in 2012 – as a director from the movie Argo. So while his acting skills aren’t perfect, he has plenty of other talents!

Zac Efron

One of Hollywood’s famous hotties is known for her smile and big muscles. He smiles so often that he didn’t get a few big roles – the directors just couldn’t make him look serious! “It was impossible…I tried five times, then we shook hands and parted ways,” the actor recalls.

In 2019, he was cast as serial killer Ted Bundy, and many critics said he romanticized his life too much. Thus, acting skills in a new area can really be pumped!

Adam Sandler

In 2012, the actor won the Razzie Awards, winning all ten nominations, and three years later the new movie The Ridiculous Six received 0 points on one of the American movie sites. “I don’t shoot to please the critics. I make people laugh,” Sandler says. In a 2008 interview, he was even more outspoken: “I’m not very talented and I don’t look perfect, but I’m still a multi-millionaire.” Don’t take that off!

Jaden Smith

Many doors are open to the son of Will Smith, so he started acting as a child. But if in childhood he was just a pretty kid, from whom nothing special was required, then he starred in several films that failed at the box office. Relative success was achieved only by the film “After Earth”, in which Jayden starred with his father.

He tried his hand in the anime, but even there the critics’ ratings weren’t at all glowing. On Twitter, the guy calls himself “the future of music, photography and the film industry”, but his abilities clearly need to be improved.
