Grey’s Anatomy: Is the series coming to an end? The designer answers honestly

The new 22nd season of Grey’s Anatomy has just started in the US. In these parts, we finally find out which Doctors survived the explosion that happened at the end of last season! Thus, we learn that either Bailey (Chandra Wilson) or Adams (Nico Terho) survived this dramatic incident.

But that’s not all, because Link (Chris Carmack), who was in danger the most, ended up not dying after this explosion either! On the other hand, Jo’s husband (Camilla Ludington) faces a long recovery before he can return to work…

Unfortunately, the character who dies on Grey’s Anatomy is actually Monica, a pediatric surgeon played by Natalie Morales since season 20. In the wake of his shocking disappearance, Amelia (and her translator Caterina Scorsone) also decides to break up with Gray Sloan for a while.

After starting the 22nd season with fanfare, the series Grey’s Anatomy still has beautiful and long days ahead of it… The creator of the saga, Shonda Rhimes, spoke about this topic in an interview given on the NBC morning show Today.

The latter states about the future of medical fiction and its potential end one day: “I’d say around episode 150, I already knew how Grey’s Anatomy was going to end. We’re at 450 now! I have no idea how it’s going to end now!”

“I wasn’t sure if we were going to make it to season 4 or season 5. Shonda Rhimes admits. So the fact that we’re on season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy is crazy. I want every character to have a really positive and great ending.“A wish that comes true? And if so, when?”
