This Sunday afternoon, 30, Luisa Mell spoke about the statements made by the former Luisa Mell Institute regarding its participation in the NGO to help animals. Instituto had announced last Friday, 28, that it would be renamed Instituto Caramelo and would dissociate itself from the influencer.
The organization’s Instagram profile clarified the change. “This group invited Luisa Mell to participate, on the premise that it would be an entirely voluntary service for all. well-known brand with real work behind it,” reads the caption.
“This change comes to depersonalize the work and separate individual attitudes and interests from the purpose of the group. It has been the result of a lot of conversation, understanding and planning. And our entire team remains, the animals remain in the shelter and in our space, which was given and built with the private resources of one of the founders, remains the same”.
Instituto Caramelo has also responded to a comment from an Internet user who was surprised by the change. “Contrary to what many think, Luísa has never given any money to the Institute. Not even a single donation. It was money from other people in the group and donations that made things work over the years. Show any deposits to the institute ,” he wrote.
After the backlash from the post, Luisa Mell used her Instagram profile to counter the allegations. “Faced shameful attempt to use this sensitive moment to try and find a reason for the jab they gave me. I had to go public and tell the truth. Easily subject to evidence,” she wrote in the caption.
“You can criticize me for this and that, but you witness all my efforts. You even went as far as to say that I have never donated anything, not even a penny. I donated my image, I donated my name, I donated my story, I donated my time. , I donated my health, my mental health,” he said on video. “Liars. I was always the founding president of the institution and all civil and criminal cases are the first to get me,” she said.
