A former producer of the drag queen’s current show, HBO’s ‘We’re Here’, sued her for sexual abuse in 2020
According to Page Six, daniel mcgarrigle, 39, said he was caught after a drunken night at a party in mid-January 2020. In the file, he said the act took place in a hotel room in Louisiana. The producer also claims that the drag queen gave him five shots and two full drinks at the team party, before inviting him to a hotel to help him pack for a flight the next day.

For three years, Daniel McGarrigle remained silent and did not report the sexual assault to justice or the show’s production because he was afraid of losing his job. He “tried to maintain a cordial relationship with Pierce” before stepping down in 2021.
The artist regrets the lawsuit
Darius Pierce has denied the allegations. “I cannot explain how hurt and disgusted I am by these totally false allegations. This new lawsuit is nothing more than an attempt to undermine both myself and a reputable television company. No one should be deceived: it has no basis in fact or right and it won’t be successful,” he said in an interview with Deadline.
In the lawsuit, the producer seeks unspecified damages for sexual assault, sexual harassment, false incarceration, gender-based assault and negligence from the artist, as well as the producer of the reality show, Buckingham Television.
