King Charles III is crowned in ceremony


For more than 2,200 people, King Charles III is crowned in England almost 70 years from the heart of Queen Elizabeth II

OR King Charles III was crowned, this Saturday, 06/05, at Westminster Abbey, London, alongside the queen consort Camilla. He ascended the throne in September last year following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.




Recall that she was the last to ascend the throne nearly 70 years ago and, according to Buckingham Palace, representatives from 203 locations around the world were invited, as well as community and charity agents. Thus, more than 2,200 people attended the ceremony.

The coronation is quite religious, being performed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welbyleader of the Anglican Church.
