Andressa Urach returns to the evangelical church: “I’m in the clouds”

Andressa Urach revealed Thursday (11/5) that she has returned to attending the evangelical church after a troubled divorce with Thiago Lopes. Last month, the model lost a court case and had to pay a fine to Universal.

In a video posted on YouTube, Andressa said her mother and stepfather called her to visit a religious temple in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The model showed gratitude for the invitation. “I just arrived, [estou] renewed, it was a blessed meeting. How beautiful it is to hear the word of God,” said Andressa.

“I am in the clouds, light, after a wonderful prayer. I am even speechless to share so much peace after attending this meeting of Pastor Gil, who came from Uruguay [RS] hold this meeting here,” he commented.

Afterward, Andressa provided more details about the cult and clarified that it’s not the same religious network she has frequented in the past. “The name of the church is ‘Ponto de Fé e Amor’, which is starting now,” she highlighted.

“The first [unidade] was in Uruguay and now they are arriving in Porto Alegre. Wow, that was really good. They talked a lot about us not losing hope, because while we have life, we must have hope. Things don’t always happen as we would like, but God specializes in changing everything.”

Andressa Urach also took advantage of the report to send a motivational message to her followers. “Suddenly you are there sad, I mean you are the sweetheart (…) You have to get up, brush your teeth, take a shower, prepare your meal, clean your house and do everything with love. You have to seek the courage and ask God,” the word preached.

“It was just that word about hope that moved me a lot. We can never lose hope. We can never let bad thoughts invade our minds. It’s a constant, daily struggle,” she stressed.
