Country singer Jimmie Allen is accused of raping his former manager for a year and a half

“He turned your sex life into hell,” the alleged victim said; denies the allegations

This Thursday, 11, according to the information on the website TMZ, the country singer Jimmie Allen, 37, was accused of raping his former manager for 18 months, the time they worked together. A lawsuit was filed in Tennessee federal court on Thursday, the 11th.

In March 2021, Allen participated in a special of the television show American idol. OR the abuse allegedly took place for the first time in a hotel room in Los Angeles, United States, following the program. Also according to the former manager, who did not reveal her name, Allen would have taken off her virginity.

According to the woman, she was hired immediately after college to be Allen’s manager and, as cited in the lawsuit filed against him, claims that the singer “turned his sex life into hell”.

How it all began

In the statement, the former manager of the singer told how it happened. She claims that after attending a dinner with Allen and music executives after taping the show, she drank a few glasses of wine and blacked out. When she woke up hours later, she was naked, disoriented and bleeding.

Also according to the trial, she revealed that “she realized she had lost her virginity without being by choice and felt she had betrayed her faith.”

She said she was disoriented and that she remembers Allen saying she had been thinking about it for a long time. “She held me. At that point, any physical will was out of the question. I was practically paralyzed.”

After the accident, Allen allegedly forced her to take the morning-after pill. After which, according to her, he said: “Now you are mine.”

Other behaviors of the singer have been reported, such as touching different parts of the woman’s body without consent. Also according to the publication, the abuses occurred in different times and places, such as cars and planes, during the time they worked together.

In the process, she says that on one of the occasions the singer choked her while raping her and that he also filmed the abuse scenes to blackmail her later.

She reportedly contacted her superiors for help, but instead of trying to investigate the allegations, they threatened to fire her if she persisted, according to the publication.

Consequences

Jimmie Allen’s former manager said he was having anxiety attacks and contemplating suicide. In October 2022, she said she was depressed. She asked not to work with Jimmie Allen anymore, she was given time off and when she came back she was fired.

Answered by Jimmie Allen

In response to Variety, the singer denied the rape allegations. “It is deeply disturbing and heartbreaking for someone I considered one of my closest friends and confidants to make false allegations,” Allen said. “I admit we had a sexual relationship — which lasted nearly two years. During that time he never accused me of any wrongdoing and spoke of our relationship and friendship as something he wanted to continue indefinitely. Only after things ended between of us hired a lawyer to ask for money, which makes me question his motives. The simple fact is that his allegations are not only false, but also extremely damaging. I have worked very hard to build my career and intend to mount a vigorous defense and take legal action necessary to protect my reputation.”

Following the allegations against the singer, he was removed from this year’s CMAFest performance schedule. A Country Music Association confirmed his removal from the lineup for the Rolling stone.
