On May 15 at 7:00 p.m., the comedy series “Youth” airs on STS, in which a well-known blogger will be re-educated by a children’s camp. The role of cybersports pioneer fell to 12-year-old Vita Kornienko, whose filmography includes 99 films, including Aunt Marta and the sequel to the legendary Daddy’s Daughters.
The protagonist of the series is a popular blogger. You have 180,000 subscribers on one of the social networks, you regularly publish new content. If you fantasize, do you see yourself becoming a blogger in the future?
For now, I only see myself in films. An actress or someone else. (Smiling.) Looks like it’s just mine. I really like cinema.
What do you like most about filming?
The process itself, meeting interesting people, experience, new places. It’s cool when there are expeditions. For example, we recently shot in Karelia, which I imagined a little differently. Thanks to the film, I got there. It was very beautiful in Sortavala! Especially Marble Canyon. It is rare that there are stones everywhere on top of each other. You must build a pyramid and make a wish. (Smiling.)
A lot of actors say they don’t like to watch their work. And you? For example, have you seen Aunt Martha?
“Aunt Martha” – yes. (Smile.) I look at myself from the other side: where and what I overplayed or underplayed, I make some corrections to myself for the future in order to prevent it from happening again in the future.

Your colleagues from the series “Aunt Martha” congratulated you and pointed out that you are very responsible in your work, in general, they noted a lot of positive qualities. Where do you think it comes from?
Probably thanks to my mother and my family. In addition to the experience, I observe my colleagues, I take notes, I learn. (Smiling.)
How do you usually prepare for a shooting day? What are you doing the night before?
They send me a text message, I read it several times, then I repeat it in the evening and in the morning I already know it by heart. Before filming, there are readings, costume and make-up fittings. In the TV series “Youth”, however, the image was the same: a black sweatshirt, black jeans, black sneakers, a white T-shirt, my ponytail – and that’s it. (Laughs.)
In another STS series – “Daddy’s Daughters” – you and the heroine are similar. And here?
It’s unusual for me, because my heroine in Youth likes computer games a lot, unlike me, she’s an e-sportswoman. And when I read the text, I didn’t understand half of the words, because there are a lot of game terms. But the Internet saved me. (Smiling.)
You said you liked pottery, playing the ukulele. Do you continue to do this? Maybe something to add to this list?
This list is constantly evolving. For example, dancing, Rubik’s cube, speed cubing have been added. I continue to study English, German has also appeared, but it is part of the school curriculum. (Smiling.)
As an adult, I only have one question: “How do you manage to do everything?” Especially considering that your filmography is replenished with new projects.
I don’t know. (Laughs) I don’t have enough hours in the day. I would like there to be fifty, because I don’t have time to do everything. I start doing something, then I understand: there’s a little left and I have to go to bed. And so, I get to do something on my own, I do something during lunch on set, between scenes and, of course, in my free time. I try to fill every minute with something interesting.
Many actors like to sleep at lunchtime, but it turns out that you are actively spending time?
I do my homework, then I do something else. Even if I come to a few scenes, I always have a huge backpack with me, where there is a book, a tablet and a Rubik’s cube. Everything is here ! (Laughs.)
You once admitted that you were writing a screenplay about polluting the planet. Did you manage to finish it?
Not yet, I’m currently working on a short film and a cartoon. The theme of the short film is also about ecology, and the cartoon is about a penguin. For now, I won’t say anything more. (Smiling.)
Are you going to draw it yourself?
Yes, I already draw. I have a program with which you can create cartoons.
What are you doing to prevent your internal battery from dying? After all, you have so many activities and projects.
For this, my mother and I have cuddling minutes. We kiss and recharge. (Smiling.)
You once said that it is not your mother, but that you choose projects yourself. What scripts are sent to you now?
More often they send something modern, there are few historical projects. I do not agree mainly with projects that touch on certain frank subjects.
And if you were dreaming, what would you like?
Play boy! I had a hero girl with a short haircut, but that’s not quite it. I would like a hero boy to understand his character, his behavior, why he does this. I have never had such a role. It would be interesting to play a hero with superpowers, or maybe with a disability. For example, a blind boy, but at the same time a superhero. Oops, I was thinking of something. (Laughs.)
And what do you like to watch? What kinds of movies do you like?
I like everything: Soviet, modern films, cartoons, historical and fantastic. And my favorite is probably the last movie. (Smile.) So all of these were interesting: the very funny “Leader of the Redskins”, the beautiful “Avatar”, “Hello, I’m your aunt!”, “Prisoner of the Caucasus, or Shurik’s New Adventures”. From the series, I liked the Ivanov-Ivanovs.
What shows do you like?
Sometimes I look at recipes and then I’ll repeat. For example, “ProSTO Kitchen” on the same STS. You can say I wake up with the chain on and fall asleep. (Smiling.)
