Influencer Luanne Jardim is robbed and killed in Rio de Janeiro

the influencer Luanne Murta Jardim Martins was killed this Sunday 21, after having suffered an attempted robbery in Rio de Janeiro. The 30-year-old woman was in a car with her boyfriend, João Pedro, when she was shot in her shoulder, which affected her heart.

Luanne was robbed in the Engenho de Dentro region, north of Rio. OR Stadium contacted the state Civil Police who confirmed the influencer’s death.

“The Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) has been called to investigate Luanne’s death. Efforts are underway to identify the perpetrator and clarify the motive for the crime,” police said in a statement.

On social networks, Luanne’s boyfriend has published a series of stories in which he cries to thank the messages of support that his family has received.

“I want to thank everyone who is sending messages, who like our family. We are fine (…) I have accessed his Instagram, his father and mother have also received it. I will post our latest family photo and whoever you may be with I thank you right now. I won’t be able to reply to every message and I won’t even try. Thank you very much,” he concluded.

Who was Luanne Jardim?

Known as Luanne Jardim on social media, the fitness influencer used to live in Barra da Tijuca in west Rio. She had 315,000 followers on Instagram and 11,200 on TikTok, where she produced weight loss content based on her own personal experience.

Luanne lost 50 pounds in 6 months and has been motivating women to lose weight the healthy way ever since. She also called herself an entrepreneur and sold food supplements that help you lose weight.
