Singer’s pressure suddenly increased; backstage, she kept singing
Sidney Magal, 70, fell ill during a show and was rushed off stage. The case took place on the night of Thursday 25 in São José dos Campos (SP).
With the mic on, Sidney Magal continued to chat with fans backstage. She explained the reason for the sudden stop of the show and even sang a little.
“I only came back here to take a break because my blood pressure suddenly increased. And this at 16 is normal. I’m here taking medication to normalize my blood pressure. And to show you that everything is fine, including my blood. And I will prove that my blood boils for you,” the singer told the audience, while present backstage.
Sidney Magal also thanked the audience for not worrying about the intercurrence. “Thank you for your love and patience.”
The first information about the case reached the public through fans who watched the show. On Twitter, for example, the topic was among the most discussed at the time.
“People, Sidney Magal felt sick in the middle of the show here at SJC,” wrote a fan on the net. In a post by the same singer, during the presentation, on his official Instagram profile, a follower commented. “My mother is at the show and he felt bad,” he said.
The singer performed at the Sesi, during a concert by Radio do Magala tour that is covering several cities around the country.
