Just unlucky: All of singer Slava’s health issues – from depression to hearing loss

In 2016, the singer of the hit “Fellow Traveler” suffered from a severe flu, which led to a complication in the form of inflammation of the middle ear. The singer even had to undergo surgery, since among the risks was complete hearing loss, but everything turned out well. True, due to health problems, Slava then had to postpone several concerts.

In 2020, Slava suffered a serious hand injury. The singer fell and broke her shoulder, and the bone was not only displaced, but also crushed. After the operation, Slava humorously commented that she apparently needed to write a positive song to break the “dark streak”. Indeed, in one of his main hits “Loneliness” there is such a line: “… I don’t feel my heart, I don’t feel my hand.”

Not everyone dares to talk openly about mental issues, but Slava, by his personal example, made it clear that this topic cannot be hushed up.

In march 2023, the singer revealed to have consulted a psychiatrist.

“Save me from depression!” Seriously! Yesterday I saw a psychiatrist. Five times I postponed the visit and now I have decided. I thought I was the strongest in the world, I could handle anything… Rest didn’t help: neither this one nor the previous ones,” admitted Slava.

In less than two months, another blow to health has occurred. At the end of May 2023, Slava was hospitalized in emergency due to a sharp deterioration in his condition. Doctors suspected the singer of having pneumonia, and reports also surfaced on the network that the pop star had a high fever and started vomiting. At the same time, everyone fell ill this time: Slava’s daughter, Alexandra, and her grandson, who is only a few months old, also felt unwell.
