Journalist, model and influencer Ligia Fazio he died Wednesday at the age of 40. Three weeks ago he suffered a cerebral vascular accident (CVA) due to complications caused by the application of industrial silicone and PMMA on the buttocks.

Between 2021 and 2022 she was hospitalized for more than 100 days to remove material, approximately 3 kg of the product implanted years earlier. The contents had begun to spread throughout the model’s body, also causing thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

“How long are these killer doctors going to put PPMA on people? This is a crime. It must be prohibited. Rest in peace, Lygia,” anchor Flávia Noronha wrote in a story, mourning the influencer’s death.
