Preta Gil celebrates the end of radiation therapy and shares an emotional video

This Tuesday 6, Preta Gil celebrated the end of radiotherapy. The singer was diagnosed with bowel cancer in January and has been undergoing treatment ever since.

Preta underwent the sessions in a hospital in the capital São Paulo, but is now returning to his hometown, Rio de Janeiro, where he will await the operation and the removal of the tumor.

On social media, he celebrated the treatment milestone a lot and shared a video with some doctors during the process. “The last radiation therapy! I won another fight!” she started to say.

“I want to thank you for all the love and positive energy! You make me emotional! To all the healthcare workers at the end of the video and also to the others who didn’t appear, I love you! Thanks for the support, welcome and love!” , he continued.

“To my friends, I have no more words to thank for so much. We are together forever! It worked, let’s move on to the next stage!”. The artist concluded the post with the hashtag Preta Cura.

To the sound of music Friendship is everything singer Thiaguinho, Preta also announced that she would organize a birthday party and invited all the professionals who took care of her to the event. “I love you, I will never forget what you have done for me,” the singer told the nurses, doctors and hospital professionals.

At the end of the video, the healthcare team even left a message for the singer, with positive messages of love and affection.
