The singer cheered up the crowd on Avenida Paulista and spoke out against hate

After the Heey Cat and DW shows, it was Pocah’s turn to lead the electric trio Smirnoff at the 27th LGBT+ Pride Parade, held this Sunday 11th in São Paulo. The singer’s show started late and suffered from technical problems, but none of this stopped Pocah from cheering up the crowd on Avenida Paulista.

“As long as there is no sound, we go with the voice, because the voice is something we have,” said the singer, at the beginning of the presentation.

Throughout the show, Pocah danced with Bianca Dellafancy and Tiago Abravanel, two celebrities who were in the stage. Comfort the trio walked, performed their greatest hits, like Let me know, I don’t have to, offender and more. She also paid homage to big names in funk, such as Lia Clark, Glória Groove and Valesca Popozuda.

The show ended when Trio Elétrico landed on Consolação Street. At this point the artist intervenes: “We cannot cower before the prejudice of being afraid of who we are, of loving, burning, people love”.

Audiences followed Pocah’s show from start to finish. Among the attractions of the trio, she was the headliner and dragged the audience to the second part of the route of the event.
