Marina and Sofia show up for the first time to clarify the legal dispute over the inheritance left after the death of the presenter
The twins Marina and Sofia, 19, have broken their silence on the legal dispute concerning the inheritance of their father, the presenter Gugu Liberato. The ex Record died about three and a half years ago, after falling from a height of 4 meters, in his own home, in Orlando, in the United States.
Since then, the legacy has pitted family members on opposing sides. On the one hand, his son João Augusto and his grandchildren; on the other, the twins and their mother, Rose Miriam, who try to demonstrate the stable union of the couple.
The reason for the dispute is the terms of the will left by Gugu: 75% of his assets for his three children, while the remaining 25% for his five grandchildren. Rose Miriam remained out of the division.
“We were a little disappointed with some of the statements they made, that what we heard was a lie on our part, and we were quite disappointed in this case,” Sofia revealed in an interview with Fantasticby Globe. “Of course, it’s very difficult to go through all of that, but I think the most important thing was that we stayed together, you know? It was what kept us together.”

The young woman also assured that the legal dispute did not affect her relationship with her brother, João Augusto. The young man defends that his father will be strictly followed, even if that doesn’t include his mother. The twins defend the opposite.
“We always put it aside. It’s not a problem for us. It doesn’t really affect our relationship. We don’t let it affect it, because the sibling relationship is so much more important,” said Sofia.
Rose Miriam receives her pension from Gugu
Rose Miriam, widow of Gugu Liberato, will not have the right to the inheritance of the presenter, who died in 2019, following a decision of the Supreme Court of Justice (STJ). In any case, she will not be destitute: the presenter having died, the doctor receives a monthly pension.
Since 2019, when the presenter died after falling down the stairs of his villa in the United States, his widow has been receiving $10,000 (about R$50,000) every month. In addition to the allowance, Rose also had a mansion that belonged to the presenter.
