Ezra Miller speaks for the first time after child molestation charges were dropped

‘The Flash’ star took to social media to discuss the case: ‘(The charges) were unfair and made intentionally’

Ezra Millerstar of The flashdecided to speak for the first time after a protective measure against him, issued in Massachusetts after allegation of molesting a non-binary child 12 years old, was suspended. In June 2022, the mother of the alleged victim accused the actor of acting inappropriately, as well as harassing his family.

The actor, who uses elu/delu pronouns and identifies as non-binary, has never faced criminal charges before. “I am encouraged by today’s outcome and very grateful right now to everyone who stood by me and tried to ensure that this misuse of the protective order system was stopped,” Ezra wrote in a statement posted on Instagramat the end of Friday evening, 30.

He continued: “Protective measures are meant to provide safety for individuals, families and children who are in danger. They should not be weaponized by those seeking attention or fame through the tabloids, or by those seeking some sort of personal revenge when there are people who are in real and desperate need of these services. (Charges) They were unjustly and intentionally made by an individual who, according to the facts, has a history of manipulative and destructive actions.”

Ezra Miller also criticized the media coverage of the incident: “I implore the members of the media who have recklessly spread false allegations and have failed to accurately report the truth and context of this story, to hold themselves to a higher standard and reserve a time to find facts instead of chasing clicks”.

“I want everyone to know that I am continuing to do my best to preserve my well-being and what I can to reverse the collateral damage this ordeal has caused me and those close to me.”

Ezra’s Advocate, Marissa Elkinshe also stated that all of the actor’s meetings with the child were supervised by the mother, and that Miller “was never alone with the child, and never interacted with her after two brief encounters in the presence of several other adults.”

Ezra attended a hearing in Greenfield District Court on Friday and heard the judge order a stay of the restraining order, which was due to expire on Saturday 1st.

Second expiration and with attorney Marissa, the mother of the child did not appear in court. After the suspension, Ezra Miller used his social media to talk about the case for the first time.
