Simony celebrates ‘different birthday’ during cancer treatment: ‘Renaissance’

Simony she used Instagram this Saturday, July 1, to celebrate her first birthday since she was diagnosed common bowel cancerin August 2022, which got him through treatment and several sessions of chemotherapy since.

“It’s a different birthday. It’s a celebration of rebirth. God, I don’t want to ask for anything: I just want to thank you for my life,” wrote the 47-year-old singer.

Then he continued: “Today is the most important day for me. I didn’t know if I would be here today to celebrate. There is a new life inside me, very, very grateful to God”.
